② Upper cushion: it is the transition layer between the protective layer and the geomembrane. Therefore, the upper cushion must be well prepared. Generally, there is sand gravel material, and the thickness should not be less than 375px.
③ Geomembrane: it is the theme of seepage prevention. In addition to reliable seepage prevention, it should also be able to withstand certain construction stress and stress caused by structural settlement during use. Therefore, there are also strength requirements. The strength of geomembrane is directly related to its thickness, which can be determined through theoretical calculation or engineering experience.
④ Lower cushion: laid under the geomembrane, it has dual functions: one is to remove water and gas under the membrane to ensure the stability of the geomembrane; the other is to protect the geomembrane from the damage of the supporting layer.
⑤ Support layer: the geomembrane is a flexible material, which must be laid on a reliable support layer, which can make the geomembrane stress evenly.
