How to fix the composite geomembrane on the steep slope? Slope fixing method and precautions

News

The normal laying requirements of composite geomembrane are basically the same as that of anti-seepage geomembrane, but the difference is that the welding of composite geomembrane requires simultaneous connection of membrane and cloth to ensure the integrity of composite geomembrane. Before welding, the laying of composite geomembrane on the base surface is mainly fixed by sandbags pressing the edges and corners, while the steep slope needs sandbags, soil cover and anchor ditch to cooperate and fix.

The fixing method of steep slope needs to change the order according to the laying order of composite geomembrane. We know that the laying of composite geomembrane needs to be driven from one side to the other. If the laying is just started, it is necessary to reserve enough length at the beginning of the composite geomembrane for anchoring. After the edge of the composite geomembrane is buried in the anchoring ditch, the composite geomembrane is paved down the slope, and then the sand bag is used to press and stabilize along the base surface of the slope bottom to fix the composite geomembrane on the slope, and then the subsequent laying is carried out; If the composite geomembrane is driven to the slope surface, the bottom base surface of the slope surface should be pressed firmly with sandbags, and then the composite geomembrane should be laid on the slope surface, and then the anchor ditch should be used to fix the edge.

1. When fixing the composite geomembrane on the slope with anchor ditch and sandbags, pay attention to the number of sandbags on the base surface of the bottom layer of the slope, and use sandbags to press firmly every certain distance;
2. The depth and width of the anchoring ditch shall comply with the provisions of the construction standard. At the same time, the groove shall be opened inside the anchoring ditch, the edge of the composite geomembrane shall be put into the groove, and then the floating soil shall be used for compaction, which can effectively prevent the composite geomembrane from falling off from the slope surface;
3. If the height of the steep slope is high, such as large artificial lakes and other engineering projects, it is necessary to add reinforcement anchorage ditches in the middle of the steep slope, so as to play the stability role of composite geomembrane on the slope surface;
4. If the length of steep slope is long, such as river embankment and other engineering projects, a reinforcement anchorage ditch can be added from the top of the slope to the bottom of the slope after a certain distance to prevent part of the fold or movement of the composite geomembrane after stress.
