The cleaning and maintenance of electric nursing beds should follow the principles of “zone cleaning, core component protection, and regular inspection and maintenance”, ensuring hygiene while avoiding damage to electrical components. The following are specific operating guidelines:
1、 Daily cleaning: Power off operation, avoid electrical components
Before cleaning, the power must be disconnected. It is strictly prohibited to directly rinse electrical parts such as motors and controllers with water to prevent short circuit damage.
Bed surface and mattress: Waterproof fabric (PVC/PU) should be wiped with warm water and neutral detergent (such as diluted detergent) with a damp cloth, and then dried with a dry cloth; Machine wash the removable mattress cover according to the instructions (water temperature ≤ 30 ℃, gentle mode), dry it in the sun, and then reinstall it to avoid sun exposure and aging; Clean the gaps between the bed boards with a soft bristled brush and wipe the dirt with a wet cotton swab.
Guardrail and headboard: After removing the detachable guardrail, wipe it with warm water, focusing on cleaning the dust accumulation on the lock buckle; Wipe the surface of the fixed headboard with a damp cloth, clean the rounded corners with a cotton swab, and avoid using a hard brush to scrape to prevent coating detachment.
Universal wheels and bed bottom: Clean the surface of the bed frame weekly, and use a long handled brush or robotic vacuum cleaner to clean the bed bottom; Cut and remove the hair wrapped around the swivel wheel to avoid affecting its rotation.
2、 Core component maintenance: Key protection for electrical and mechanical systems
Motor and controller: Clean the motor dust with a dry cloth every month, turn off the power to check if the connecting wires are loose, and immediately stop using if the cables are damaged; The controller (including remote control) is anti drop and waterproof, and the gaps between the buttons should be cleaned with a dry cotton swab. The remote control battery should be checked for 3-6 months and should not be removed for a long time.
Adjustment mechanism: Apply a small amount of medical Vaseline to the connecting rod joints (hinges, gears) every quarter to reduce friction noise; Check for foreign objects before adjusting the lag, do not forcefully operate to prevent motor overload.
• Power supply and battery: Avoid frequent plugging and unplugging of power plugs, and regularly check for loose and hot sockets; Emergency batteries should be charged once a month to prevent battery depletion and aging.
3、 Regular inspection: prevent safety hazards
• Weekly inspection: Test pull the guardrail to confirm that it is securely locked; Avoid concentrating on one side of the bed and check for any deformation or abnormal noise on the bed board.
Monthly inspection: Power on to test functions such as lifting and flipping, and listen for any abnormal operating noise; Use a screwdriver to tighten the loose screws of the bed frame and guardrail.
• Semi annual inspection: Contact after-sales for comprehensive maintenance, focusing on testing motor performance, circuit safety, and emergency power-off functions.
4、 Taboo: Avoid equipment damage
Avoid using strong acid and alkali cleaning agents (toilet cleaner, 84 disinfectant) to prevent corrosion of metal and plastic parts.
Do not place heavy objects (mostly ≤ 250kg) beyond their load-bearing capacity to prevent deformation of the bed board and damage to the motor.
Use moisture-proof pads and ventilate in damp environments to prevent electrical components from being short circuited due to moisture.
Long term use without power outage or dust cover, monthly power on start function to prevent motor from getting damp and stuck.
